Papers documenting the post-war development of the franchise business from an insider's viewpoint. The collection includes corporate business documents, artwork and photographic advertisements, advertising copy, photographs Wood's own rules on "How to Open and Run a Franchise", store layouts, design drawings, logo designs, and the prototype for a paper carry-out tray Wood developed. Advertising designer and consultant, he also invented packaging systems, production equipment and advertising services. He was active in the development of the franchise concept in businesses and restaurants.
