Summary
William Carl Diehl was an aviation pioneer and member of the Early Birds organization. In 1914, he built and flew a monoplane and helped establish two flying schools. Diehl began work in 1926 on patents on aircraftmuffler and valves. The collection contains biographical information, busines records, information on aviation organizations, aviation material collected by Diehl, and information on flight, events, and aviation accidents.
