It's time for the 7th annual Invent It Challenge! Get all the details about the 2018 challenge.

The Spark!Lab Dr. InBae Yoon Invent It Challenge, hosted with Cricket Media's ePals portal, is underway! This year's Challenge, open to those five to 21 years old, asks entrants to addressing an issues related to natural disasters. Submissions are due April 11, 2018.

The Challenge: Think about a new and innovative way to provide natural disaster preparation and relief.

Who can take part?

Challengers may enter individually of as part of a team in the following four age groups:

  • 5 to 7 years old
  • 8 to 10 years old
  • 11 to 13 years old
  • 14 to 21 years old

Timeline

  • Challenge launches January 31
  • Submission deadline April 11
  • Winners announced May 8
  • ePals Choice Award Winner announced May 22
