Summary
Du Mont was an engineer for Westinghouse Lamp Company. From 1928 to 1931 he was chief engineer for the DeForest Radio Company. At that time he established his own firm, Du Mont Laboratories Inc., and directed its work until 1960, when the laboratory was acquired by Fairchild Instrument and Camera Corporation. Materials dealing with the products of the Du Mont firm; also a substantial block of information on the struggles over regulation of the television industry; much publicity and advertising copy related to Du Mont Products; and a few personal items.
