Summary

An extensive collection of records selected by Cominco, from officesin Vancouver, Trail, and elsewhere. The collection includes annual reports, early correspondence, financial and legal records, research and development records, records of metallurgical, smoke, chemical and fertilizer operations, diverse records of Cominco's various mines,subsidiaries, and affiliates, smoke control records, public relations records, histories of Cominco, and personnel records.  Sound recordings transferred to Sound and Moving Images (F1988: 17/1-16); photographs to Visual Records accession, 199105-001, and maps to the Map collection. Includes information about the French Process litigation, and patents, 1911-1924
