Summary

Papers of metallurgical engineer long associated with the Mines Experiment Station at the University of Minnesota, where he was involved in the development of the taconite pelletizing process. The papers relate to Wade’s work on a variety of projects involving northern Minnesota’s iron ranges, as a staff member at the station, and later as Hopkins based mining and mineral development consultant. Includes correspondence and memoranda, reports and studies, metallurical test reports, research and technical data, clippings, photographs, employment salary information, academic reocrds, mining-related inventions, and patents.
