W. Bernard Carlson, author of Tesla: Inventor of the Electrical Age, discusses Tesla's childhood and cultural background, his invention process, his most famous inventions, including the Tesla coil and alternating current motor, and the Edison-Tesla “rivalry.” In addition, Carlson sheds light on Tesla’s personality and style.
