Summary

Prang, of Breslau, Germany and Boston, MA, founded a lithographic business with Julius Meyer. Prang is considered the founder of the greeting card business in the United States. Prangs papers include documents, certificates, typescripts of speeches, catalogs, color separation book, photographs, and three patents issued for improvements in printing textiles, 1871 and 1880; and for improvement in envelopes for rolled prints.
