Summary

Thomas B. A. Chamberlain contributed patriotic verse and political cartoons to a number of Toronto periodicals during the 1890s and the early part of the 20th century. Much of his work was published under his initials, T.B.A.C. Fonds consists of textual records as follows: scrapbook containing clippings of Thomas B.A. Chamberlain's work published in GRIP, SATURDAY NIGHT, THE GLOBE, STAR WEEKLY, TORONTO DAILY STAR, WEEKLY TIMES and EVENING TELEGRAM, ca. 1893-1934, 14 pages of manuscript verse signed T.B.A.C. and 1 page signed A.B.C.; an American patent for a "Combined Pen-Holder, Pen-Nib Extractor and Paper-Knife" in Chamberlain's name, 1891; "Statement and Testimonials of A.F. Chamberlain, M.A., Ph.D., F.A.A.S.", ca. 1892; and newspaper clippings relating to the anthropologist Alexander Francis Chamberlain, 1904.
