Summary
Alfred Verville was responsible for a number of important innovations in aircraft design, including welded-steel-frame fuselages and retractable landing gear. The collection contains Verville’s personal papers relating primarily to his various aeronautical concerns and his involvement with military aviation. Drawings and photographs of Verville designed aircraft, especially those developed by Verville Aircraft Co. in 1928-1931.
